Type: Part-time (10-20 hours/week to start)
Location: Remote
Schedule: Flexible schedule, primarily during common business hours
Compensation: Base pay plus commission with results bonuses

Kingfisher Technologies is a small IT consulting and services firm with big plans for the future. We specialize in helping small and medium businesses avoid business interruptions caused by disasters and cybersecurity breaches – data powers almost every aspect of modern life, and we protect it and keep it flowing using simple, pragmatic, and effective approaches that combine cutting-edge technologies with tried-and-true methodologies. Our greatest strength, though, is our team, and our flexible hours and remote work environment let you live your life on your terms.

In this sales associate role, you’ll play an important role in accelerating the growth of our company by making first contact with new clients and building relationships with existing clients. If you enjoy talking with people and working with them to identify solutions to their technology challenges, we want to talk to you!


  • Engage business owners, senior management, and/or technical management to learn about their technology needs and challenges and discover how we can help them
    • Identify opportunities that meet minimum qualification criteria
    • Schedule appointments with our principal architect for further discussion
  • Respond to inbound inquiries
  • Research new leads for our database through various sources, including LinkedIn


  • Conduct meaningful conversations with technical professionals and/or business leaders
  • Set 2 or more appointments per week with prospective clients
  • Create and deliver reports on direct marketing performance
  • Communicate regularly with the business owner/manager concerning activities and results


  • Prior experience and comfort working with technology required
    • Prior experience in the information technology field a plus
  • Prior customer service experience required
  • High school degree or equivalent required
  • 2 or more years post high school education preferred
  • Prior experience in B2B sales a plus


  • Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in written form
  • Fluency in English

Additional requirements:

  • Must be able to create a workspace free from unnecessary background noise
  • Must have a high-speed internet connection
  • Must have cell phone (iOS/Android)
  • Computer will be provided
  • Flexible hours, but most work must be performed during common US business hours (8:00a EST-5:00p PST) Mon-Fri
